About me & Cococrema
Most businesses have more going for them than their website shows.
Hi, I'm Magdalena.
Before websites and marketing, I was an actress. That sounds like a huge stretch. It isn't, really. On stage the question was always: does this land? Do people care? Do they believe it? I ask websites the same thing.
Today I work somewhere between positioning, marketing, copywriting, web design and web development.
Yes, including the code.
Along the way I've also shot portraits, done graphic design and edited a lot of video. Basically, if it can be made on a computer, I've spent more hours on it than I'd care to admit.
But those are just the tools. What I really care about is translation.
I saw what happens without it while working in marketing. The reviews praised the experience. The website buried it. Since then, I notice it everywhere. And it matters, because people compare. One click away, there are 300 other kite schools. Or coaches. Or yoga studios. So why this one?
The answer is usually already there, often in something you'd never think to mention. My job is to dig it out and make it hard to miss.
Here's how I look at a website
And finally, for anyone wondering about the name: officially, Cococrema comes from "Conscious Content Creation and Marketing."
Unofficially, it's a daydream. A small studio somewhere in a harbor town in Peru, under a palm tree. Across from it, a café called Cococrema. At lunchtime I take a coffee down to the water and watch the sailboats until they vanish over the horizon. Or until a seagull takes an interest in my coffee.
